Crunchy chickpeas
I loveee to add crunch to every meal to create another layer of texture and elevate the taste sensation. Crunchy chickpeas are a perfect way to add a healthy, protein-rich crunch to salads, soups, and curries. Or you could just eat them as a snack. As a bonus, they are very easy to make!
Ingredients
For 4 servings
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- Herbs and/or spices, depending on the matching dish. For inspiration, you can have a look at my favorite mixes below.
Herby flavors:
- 1 tsp of rosemary (fresh or dried)
- 1 tsp of thyme (fresh or dried)
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
Spicy flavor:
- 1/2 tsp of chili powder
- 1 tsp of paprika powder
- 1 tsp of cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp of coriander powder
Directions
Heat the oven to 180 degrees Celcius. Drain the chickpeas and dry the chickpeas as well as you can. Spread them on a baking tray with some baking paper. Sprinkle the olive oil and herbs and/or spices on top. Bake in the oven for 20-30 min until they have the perfect level of crunchiness of your liking.
Serve with your meal or eat as a delicious snack. Enjoy!
