Oat bars
Healthy oat bars are very easy to make yourself. Perfect as a snack or for breakfast with some yogurt. Choose dried fruits and nuts of your choice and enjoy these bars for up to 2 weeks!
Ingredients
For ±12 pieces
- 250 grams oats
- 1 ripe banana
- 50 grams of peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 50 grams of a mix of your favorite nuts (hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecans, almonds, macadamia, etc.)
- 50 grams of a mix of your favorite dried fruits (figs, raisins, apricots, plums, apples, pears, etc.)
- 2 tbsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp cacao powder or 50 grams of dark chocolate
- 1/2 tbsp cardamom powder
Directions
Heat up the oven to 180 degrees Celcius. Prepare a baking mold with baking paper.
Mash the banana. Chop the nuts and dried fruits. Mix all ingredients together.
Spread the mixture evenly over the baking mold and press well. Bake for around 30 minutes.
Let the oat bars cool down. Cut them into ±12 pieces. Enjoy!
❣️ Storing tip: wrap the oat bars in aluminum foil and store them in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
